The Boat
Fools Gold is a 46ft Chesapeake deadrise built in 2002 here in Crisfield Maryland. In 2023, we updated Fools Gold to all-new state-of-the-art electronics and lighting. Powered by two rebuilt 3208 CAT motors and cruising at 20 knots we can get you where you want to go in luxury and style. A cozy, spacious cabin with a modern, clean, and sanitary head is key to keeping our guests comfortable. We have a spacious wide open deck with no pesky motor boxes to get in your way of having a good time.
The Crew
Ever since he was young, Captain Brady has navigated the waters of the Chesapeake Bay oystering and crabbing. Taking his passion for boating and fishing, he has launched Fool’s Gold Charters with his First Mate, Lexi.
Brady will show you around the scenic waters of the Chesapeake Bay, navigate you to the best fishing spots, and host memorable events for your family and friends. Working tirelessly, Brady and Lexi have been updating and retrofitting Fool’s Gold for the 2023 season to make sure all charters have a great day on the water!

“I want to share my passion for boating and fishing with everyone who steps onto the boat. We hope to welcome you onboard Fool’s Gold this season!”
First Mate Lexi is an experienced boater and fisherwoman with years of experience working on the water. During the off-season, she is a teacher, leaving her summers free to spend more time doing what she loves on the water. Over the years, she has worked with multiple captains on the Chesapeake Bay, gaining experience in the fishing industry.
Lexi will complete her captain’s course in 2024 and obtain a captain’s license, in the meantime, she will be assisting Captain Brady for the 2023 Season. Lexi has been hard at work renovating Fools Gold to welcome guests to the 2023 fishing and charter season. If she’s not working a trip, she’s spending her time somewhere on the water.
